Justin and Abby’s Top 6 for Chicago Green Clothing
Oct 20th

After making quite a few Whole Foods and green boutique store visits, Abby and I caught up for a beverage in Lincoln Park and pulled together a list of the top places in the Chicago area to find sustainable clothing:
1) A Cooler Planet. An eco-lifestyle store with sustainable, organic, fair trade home and clothing options. I’d say owners Heidi Bailey and Krista White have done a great job with branding and identity.
2) Little Green Baby. Pesticide free clothing for the little ones.
3) Green Genes. Organic, recycled and re-purposed gear in the Andersonville neighborhood.
4) Asinamali of Evanston. Very cool, unexpected Women’s clothing, accessories.
5) Whole Foods Market. A variety of eco-fashion from great lines including Green Label, Indigenous Designs and Maggie’s Organics.
6) Pivot Boutique. The place in Chicago for chic eco-wear. A bit hard to find but worth the search.
Making Change with Jack Johnson
Apr 18th
Holy Cow is a proud member of the Jack Johnson All At Once Community.
The community makes it easier for us all to make positive change and take action towards a healthier planet. Jack Johnson has been visionary in green thinking in everything from his bio-diesel tour travel to charitable commitment with 1% for the planet. Here are a few other uncommonly green leadership actions from Jack:
- Co2 Offset & Climate-Neutral Certification. When buying a concert ticket online you can select a Co2 offset to neutralize your travel impact.
- Organic Tour Merchandise. Tour shirts are made with 100% organic cotton. Tour posters and CD packaging are also printed on 100% post-consumer waste recycled paper.

- Environmental Donation. All donations made by fans to the All At Once partner nonprofit organizations online or at Jack’s concerts are matched by his new charity.
Thanks to Jack for his passionate commitment to positive environmental impact. Check out the community and join us at AllAtOnce.org. We look forward to making change together.

Holy Cow Grew!
Apr 7th

Hello there, my name is Ray and I’m the new numbers guy at Holy Cow Company. I helped the founder, Justin, with creating the vision of our brand when the logo was only a sketch in his Moleskin. I recently decided to officially come on board to assist Justin in making the company financially and operationally sound. I’ve worked in various industries: retail, food, investment banking, management consulting, etc. I’m a graduate of Warrington College of Business at University of Florida (Go Gators!).
What this means for you:
We are in business because we want to design and produce products that are healthier for you while leaving as little environmental impact as possible. The only way to fulfill our dream is to run as a successful business. By managing an efficient supply chain and retaining our earnings to invest in green initiatives, I can help Holy Cow to deliver better products and you to save the environment.
