Her favorite escape and source of inspiration comes from her backyard, where she gets grounded in her vegetable garden.
Q&A with Holy Cow Designer Nani
Oct 22nd

We are working with some amazingly talented designers from around the world. We prefer a wide mix of artists because each brings such a different perspective. After seeing some of Nani’s street murals, we knew that she would bring a fresh approach to Holy Cow. We caught up with Nani to chat about her style and the latest Holy Cow design.
Nani, where are you from?
I’m from Indonesia but am currently in Melbourne, Australia.
How does Melbourne inspire your design work?
Everything here does. I love to see beautiful things and see what people are doing. I love the landscape. I will take photos, sketch, or even my dreams. They all inspire my work.
How do you define your overall style?
I don’t want to define my style because I love to try every kind and mix all styles. I use different media. But if people see my work, mostly they say its pop art, vintage and colorful.

What is the story behind your most recent design?
Holy Cow has an Earth-saving mission. Birds represent an animal who feel the air and have problems with air pollution. The colorful background represents change and beautiful things for the air.
See more from Nani at her personal site and try on her design at the Holy Cow shop.
