*Midwest Exclusive* at Whole Foods!

Holy Cow is proud to announce the launch of an Exclusive Design, available only at Whole Foods Midwest Region Stores!

holy-cow-organic-clothing-i-bike-il-mn-wi-mi-state-exclusive-design-designer-tee-whole-foods-market

These fab shirts come in a soft green, and are made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton!

Keep your eyes open for these exclusive shirts, starting in late July at Whole Foods Markets in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska and Wisconsin. There are 30 locations to shop and green-up your summer wardrobe, and just in time for sunny cycling adventures!

Did you know…

  • If we spent our gas money (at $3.72/gallon) on food to fuel our biking, that $3.72 would take us 26 miles on beef, 48 miles on potatoes, 106 miles on beans, and 109 miles on rice.

  • Bicycling is 117% more efficient than walking.
Using a bicycle to commute four days a week for four miles (one-way) saves 54 gallons of gas annually.
  • The energy and resources needed to build one medium-sized car could produce 100 bicycles.

  • Bikes are 2/3 more efficient than traveling by car, even after factoring in the energy to produce the extra food the cyclist requires.

Your choices make a difference for your city, and for the planet.  Join Holy Cow and Whole Foods in the Green Moo-vement!

Holy Cow heads to the land of Cable Cars!

Hello, San Francisco!

Hello, San Francisco!

Looking for something to do this weekend? Why not come on over to the 7th Annual Green Festival on November 14, 15, & 16, 2008 at the San Francisco Concourse Exhibition Center and the Giftcenter Pavilion Theater. The event is a joint project of Global Exchange and Co-op America, two leading non-profits who have dedicated their energies to environmental and social justice for over 25 years.

Bring the kids, bring your friends – learn all about one of the biggest topics of discussion in the election – clean energy production in all its many forms!

We’ll be there with cowbells on, ringing the praises of organic cotton clothing for everyone! There’s so much to do, including a fashion show featuring Holy Cow organic apparel – MOO-RAY!

Here’s a little more info, courtesy of the Green Team at the San Francisco Green Festival:
